Top Ten MCU Movies I Want to See Next

The cast for Avengers: Doomsday was just revealed last week, and it's got everybody talking about the future of the MCU. It's with hesitant excitement I enter this next phase for Marvel, because the Multiverse Saga has not been the best era for the franchise. Hopefully they can end it on a high note and then go in some exciting new directions after the next two Avengers movies cap off this huge story. That's what we're talking about today: ten MCU movies I would love to see after the Multiverse Saga is over.
10. Spider-Man: Kraven's Last Hunt

If Tom Holland's Peter Parker is being taken in a different direction, this would be it. I think I speak for everyone when I say that I would love a more grounded, street-level Spidey, and this personal story about a game of cat-and-mouse between him and Kraven the Hunter would be awesome. I have not seen Aaron Taylor-Johnson's Kraven the Hunter, but I do not believe that to be a good adaptation of the character, so it would be awesome to watch him take Holland's Spider-Man on head-to-head. This could feel like a chase thriller with Kraven trying everything possible to take down Spider-Man. The action sequences would feel like Winter Soldier: grounded, brutal, and real. There could be a relatively low amount of CGI. It could just be really cool. Imagine, like, Alan Ritchson as Kraven trying to chase Spider-Man. That would be freakin' sick.
Fan Cast:
Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man
Alan Ritchson as Sergei Kravinoff / Kraven the Hunter
Zendaya as Michelle Jones-Watson
Anya Taylor-Joy as Gwen Stacy
Timothée Chalamet as Harry Osborn
9. The Hell King

You will see later on this list that I am a sucker for blending horror and superheroes. It's never really been done that well, but I feel like a horror movie starring Ghost Rider would be sick. This would be a sensical way to introduce Mephisto into the MCU and have this darker, R-rated pocket of it. I think the MCU should head in that direction, where they've got more pcoket stories rather than one large story, and I think with The Hell King and Blade and maybe Moon Knight, we could get something really awesome. I picture this as an almost biblical horror film that has this battle between Ghost Rider and Mephisto, the literal devil. Make it scary, make it R-rated, and have it be awesome. I know Ghost Rider technically exists in the MCU with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but we're ignoring that here.
Fan Cast:
Paul Mescal as Johnny Blaze / Ghost Rider
Ralph Fiennes as Mephisto
8. World War Hulk

I'm not super pro-multiverse, because this has not been the best run for Marvel, but if you did a World War Hulk multiverse movie, that would be awesome. Have Eric Bana, Lou Ferrigno, Edward Norton, and Mark Ruffalo all return as their respective Hulks. I don't know the storyline super well, but I think if you could get a bunch of Hulks duking it out and have the ultimate villain be the Maestro, that could be super cool. Hulk has been underutilized to a point where he isn't even appearing in Doomsday, so this would be a cool way to give his character some focus. Especially since he wasn't even in the movie where his main nemesis appeared. Also, yes, I know Ruffalo and Norton play the same character, but I think you could have an alternate version of the Hulk played by Norton appear and get away with it.
Fan Cast:
Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner / The Hulk
Eric Bana as Bruce Banner / The Hulk
Edward Norton as Bruce Banner / The Hulk
Lou Ferrigno as The Hulk
Bill Bixby as Bruce Banner
Tim Roth as Emil Blonsky / Abomination
Harrison Ford as Thunderbolt Ross / Red Hulk
Jason Momoa as Maestro
7. Spider-Man and Daredevil

Again, if we wanted to go street-level with Spider-Man, this is the way to do it. Have him team up with Charlie Cox's Daredevil and get a full-on street war between these two and Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin. With Spider-Man now operating solo in New York, it would be the perfect time to see him join forces with the man without fear and do battle to save not only Hell's Kitchen but the entire city. Daredevil and Spider-Man are two of my favorite Marvel heroes, and we already saw them interact in No Way Home, so to see a whole movie of them would be awesome.
Fan Cast:
Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man
Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock / Daredevil
Vincent D'Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin
John Cena as Lonnie Lincoln / Tombstone
6. X-Men: Age of Apocalypse

We already saw Apocalypse butchered in the main X-Men movies, so I think it would be awesome if the MCU could remedy that. I'm assuming that the X-Men will take over as the main characters of the MCU after Secret Wars, and I think it would be very cool to have Apocalypse act as their Thanos. He could be the next big bad of the MCU. They didn't do anything with his character in the Fox franchise, but to explore his backstory as the world's first mutant and show how powerful he is throughout the next saga of the MCU could make him one of the best villains the Marvel movies have ever seen.
Fan Cast (I'm not doing all of the X-Men):
Jacob Elordi as Scott Summers / Cyclops
Charles Dance as Erik Lensherr / Magneto
Daniel Radcliffe as Logan Howlett / Wolverine
Ewan McGregor as Professor Charles Xavier
Lily James as Jean Grey
Javier Bardem as En Sabah Nur / Apocalypse
5. Midnight Sons

If we took the horror route in the MCU, this would be their Avengers. The main team would be led by Doctor Strange to defend the world from some dark threat (maybe Mephisto again). This would be an R-rated superhero horror epic at its finest. The team would consist of Strange, Blade, Punisher, Ghost Rider, Moon Knight, Werewolf by Night, Wolverine, and Scarlet Witch (back from the dead). Maybe you even throw Agatha Harkness in there. This would be the darkest Avengers-level movie we have, and it would be super, super cool. This is why I hope the MCU can go into their little pocket stories, because you could build to this really, really well with characters that we all want to see.
Fan Cast:
Benedict Cumberbatch as Doctor Stephen Strange
Mahershala Ali as Eric Brooks / Blade
Oscar Isaac as Marc Spector / Moon Knight
Paul Mescal as Johnny Blaze / Ghost Rider
Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle / Punisher
Gael GarcÃa Bernal as Jack Russell / Werewolf by Night
Elizabeth Olsen as Wanda Maximoff / Scarlet Witch
Daniel Radcliffe as Logan Howlett / Wolverine
Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness
Ralph Fiennes as Mephisto
4. The Spectacular Spider-Man

If we do a new Spider-Man trilogy, my proposal is to go with the just-announced Spider-Man: Brand New Day, do either the Daredevil team-up movie or Kraven's Last Hunt, and then end with a team-up between Peter Parker and Miles Morales. To do that, however, we need to introduce Miles first. He is probably the most significant hero that is not a part of the X-Men or Fantastic Four that we are yet to see. He was actually teased in Spider-Man: Homecoming when we met Donald Glover's version of Aaron Davis, so it would be nice to follow up on that and give us a Miles solo movie before he inevitably meets Tom Holland and the two take on NYC as the main Spider-Men. I would like another coming-of-age story, but in a different vein than either Homecoming or Into the Spider-Verse. It would be tough to make a movie different than those two, but if you give Miles a solo mission without Peter as a mentor, that would allow him to be his own character and make him automatically different than either Holland's Spider-Man or the animated one. Also, Scorpion would be the villain to set up a movie later on this list...
Fan Cast:
Caleb McLaughlin as Miles Morales / Spider-Man
Donald Glover as Aaron Davis / The Prowler
Michael Mando as Mac Gargan / Scorpion Colman Domingo as Jefferson Davis
Penelope Cruz as Rio Morales
3. X-Men: Immortal

My pitch for an X-Men series in the MCU involves an initial movie that sets up the group and likely has Magneto as the villain. The sequel would be X-Men: Immortal. This movie would not be R-rated, but it would dip into horror territory because Mr. Sinister would be the main antagonist. He is probably the most significant Marvel villain to never make a live-action appearance, and, with the amount of X-Men content we've had, that is shocking. It is way past time this guy makes his live-action debut, and we finally have the chance with a new direction for the MCU. I don't know what the story would be like, but if you wanted to get Sam Raimi to direct this, that would be awesome. Get an Evil Dead-esc X-Men movie with Mr. Sinister giving us some crazy, horrific visuals. That would be so frickin' cool.
Fan Cast:
Jacob Elordi as Scott Summers / Cyclops
Charles Dance as Erik Lensherr / Magneto
Daniel Radcliffe as Logan Howlett / Wolverine
Ewan McGregor as Professor Charles Xavier
Lily James as Jean Grey
Jenna Ortega as Rogue
Austin Butler as Remy LeBeau / Gambit
2. Young Avengers

This is one that is almost definitely going to happen. They've been setting up the Young Avengers for a bit, and it finally seemed to be actually teased in the after-credits of The Marvels. Kamala Khan met up with Kate Bishop and this seems to be the direction they are headed. I actually expect this to be a TV show, because most of the Young Avengers have been setup on TV. I don't want it to be, however, because I think a teenage group of Avengers would be really fun. They've got to get it going, however, because Hailee Steinfeld, Joe Locke, Xochitl Gomez, and Iman Vellani will only be "Young" Avengers for so long.
Fan Cast:
Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan / Ms. Marvel
Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop / Hawkeye
Xochitl Gomez as America Chavez
Joe Locke as Billy Maximoff / Wiccan
Dominique Thorne as Riri Williams / Ironheart
Caleb McLaughlin as Miles Morales / Spider-Man
Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang / Stature
Noah Schnapp as Teddy Altman / Hulkling
Jacob Tremblay as Tommy Maximoff / Speed
Elijah Richardson as Eli Bradley / Patriot
1. Spider-Man: Sinister

The ultimate capper on Tom Holland's Spider-Man would be to finally get him square off against the Sinister Six. At this point, Miles Morales would already be with him, so this would be an epic Spider-Man movie for the ages. If you can tease Norman Osborn throughout the next trilogy and build him up towards his transformation to Green Goblin, he can assemble all of Spidey's worst enemies to create the Sinister Six for the first time on screen. Not a multiverse version. Not a bad version. A good version, with characters we've met throughout the franchise. This could be the ultimate send-off to Tom Holland's Spider-Man, and it is something that webhead fans have been waiting to see for years. You could have Scorpion, Kraven, Green Goblin, Vulture, an Eddie Brock infected by the Venom symbiote that Tom Hardy left behind, and maybe even Black Cat in there (she's rumored to be the villain of Brand New Day). This would be an incredible spectacle for everyone that has been with this character since his big-screen debut in 2002.
Fan Cast: Tom Holland as Peter Parker / Spider-Man
Caleb McLaughlin as Miles Morales / Spider-Man
Zendaya as Michelle Jones-Watson
Jason Isaacs as Norman Osborn / Green Goblin
Joe Keery as Eddie Brock / Venom
Michael Mando as Mac Gargan / Scorpion
Alan Ritchson as Sergei Kravinoff / Kraven the Hunter
Michael Keaton as Adrian Toomes / Vulture
Daisy Edgar-Jones as Felicia Hardy / Black Cat
